Indriyon ko samajhne se pehle yeh jaan lena zaruri hai ki yeh aatma kya hai aur a-naatma kya hai.
Shareer, Indriyaan, Praan, Mann aur Ahankaar aadi aur unke sabhi tarah ke parivartan idriya vishya aur unke sab sukh dukh aadi, sab avyakat paryant, us sansaar ko A-NAATMA kehte hain.
Ek sawaal - Kya Indriyon ka sukh hi sabse bada sukh hota hai? Jinhone kabhi sukh ka, anand ka sakshaatkaar nahi kiya hai, weh aisa hi sochte hai
Hum sabhi ko ek shareer milta hai jisme paancho indriyaan samaan hoti hai aur jiske dwara hum is sthool sansaar ko anubhaw karte hain. Pashu Pakshiyon ke paas bhi yehi shareer, yehi indriyaan hoti hain, kintu manushya ke paas ek vishesh tarah ka vivek hota hai, jiske dwara weh uchit anuchit satya asatya dharam adharam ka bhed karta hai. Vivek dwara hi manushya apni indriyon ko niyantrit aniyantrit karta hai, taaki uske uddeshya me koi vyawadhaan utpann na ho aur jo manushya vivekheen aur indriyon ke daas hotey hain, weh pashu pakshiyon ke samaan hotey hain. Weh sansaar ke saath saath apna naash bhi karte hain, weh hi dharam ka naash bhi karte hain
Ek aur sawaal - Hum apni indriyon ke daas ho kaise jaatey hain?
Iska matlab yadi humara Antah-karan shuddh hai to hmaare karam bhi shuddh honge aur ache honge. Yadi humara Antah-karan hi shuddh nahi to humare karam bhi ache nahi.

In the Sutta Pitaka, six sensory faculties are referenced in a manner similar to the six sense bases. These faculties consist of the five senses with the addition of "mind" or "thought" (manas).
- vision (cakkh-indriya)
- hearing (sot-indriya)
- smghān-indriya)
- taste (jivh-ell (indriya)
- touch (kāy-indriya)
- thought (man-indriya)
The first five of these faculties are sometimes referenced as the five material faculties (e.g., pañcannaṃ indriyānaṃ avakanti).[16]
Vivekachudamni 76. The deer, the elephant, the moth, the fish and the honey-bee---these five meet death because of their bondage to one of the five senses. What then is the condition of a person who is attached to all five?
A deer meets with death when, unmindful of the danger lurking behind, it stands transfixed listening to sweet music. A mighty elephant wandering at will in the forest gets caught when tempted with the touch of a female elephant. A moth is attracted to a bright flame and rushes into it to burn and perish. A fish succumbs to taste by swallowing a piece of flesh used as bait on a hook. Attracted by the fragrance, a bee enters a lotus and gets trapped in it when the flower closes its petals at sunset. How then to describe the plight of man who, enslaved by all the five senses, loses the power to discriminate and is unable to strive for the spiritual goal.
Equally important are the ideas we absorb through the mind. None can carelessly continue to gather mental dirt and yet hope to discipline and focus the mind. “A disciplined mind acts as our friend, and an undisciplined mind acts as our enemy,” teaches the Bhagavad Gita (6.6). But how do we discipline the mind? Filling the mind with noble thoughts and continually dwelling on them disciplines and strengthens the mind. A devotee of God finds that sincere and steadfast repetition of the divine name restrains the mind and the senses without much effort.
